Playradioplay!s new album, Texas, is an interesting listen. I'd never listened to them before, so when I first popped it in, I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when the first track started off. It was very upbeat and easy to dance to. From there, the tempo slowed down, but the songs were still fun to listen to. One of my favorite tracks on the album is I'm A Pirate You're A Princess. It’s a fun track to listen to and is quickly becoming a new favorite. My only real problem with the album is the repetitive sound of most of the songs. Overall, the album reminds me of a cross between Powerspace and Hellogoodbye. A combo that turned out pretty well in my opinion.
