I picked up this album expecting something great. I couldn’t believe how disappointed I was after listening to it once through. Their sound is the same, which lends to part of the problem. This album sounds as if it is just one long, never ending song. I think some cohesion in an album is good, but when every track sounds the same, it gets weary. The only thing that saves this album are the songs Faust Arp and Videotape. Especially the piano included in Videotape. They keep this album from completely bombing. I’m hoping the album grows on me over time, but I have a feeling that it won’t.
