My thoughts in this album before I listened to it were that this would be just another typical power pop album with no substance or originality; that this band would fade into the background quickly. I was surprised though to find myself enjoying it. Its actually pretty good. The songs are fun and catchy and you cant help getting into them ,however, there are more filler songs than what I would recommend. My favorite is ‘Shake It’. The album has an overall dance type feel, but it appeals to fans of almost every genre. This band has the determination and skills to go anywhere they want. After one listen to Metro Station I guarantee you will walk away humming the songs.
