Rating: 5/5

You either love or hate this album; there’s no in between. If you were to line this up with their other albums the natural progression would be obvious. They haven’t left the sound that made them big like many other bands do ,however, they haven’t stayed the exact same. They have all the elements they are capable of and haven’t tried to add anything more. The one thing you cannot miss about this album are the amazing vocals, the singer has an incredible voice. The lyrics are something else as well, filled with horrible metaphors and great catchy choruses; its what you’ve come to expect. The album makes a bold start with songs like ‘Thriller’, ‘This Ain’t A Scene, Its An Arms Race’ and ’The Take Over, The Break Over’ but it kind of stops there. “You’re Crashing But You’re No Wave”, “Bang The Doldrums” and “Don’t You Know Who I Think I Am?” are strangely similar and repetitive. Despite the failure at keeping up the great feel through out the album its amazing none the less and not a wasted effort.
