If I had to describe this album in one word it would be: amazing. This is the album every band wishes they could make. I was blown away when I listened to this album. It is Empires first full length and right off that bat it captures your attention and doesn’t release you until the very end. With this album there is not a single song you want to skip. You get sucked in with the opening song ‘Spit the Dark’ and get thrown out begging for more when ‘Hayley’ comes around. The songs are arranged brilliantly and the vocals are killer. The band describe themselves as ‘eclectic rock’ and is for fans of today’s rock scene.
