This is a very fun and quirky album. You can tell their sound has progressed and their ability has improved. The flow is absent, but that’s a staple with this band. Flow would ruin the appeal. Each song has it own little world. The energy in each song draws you in and you really get into it. It’s the same uniqueness you hope for but more powerful and more rock. They continue to push themselves away from the genres and put you into awe with their creativity. You cannot listen to this album only once or twice and decide how you feel about it; there is so much going on you have to listen to it over and over. The tracks ‘AM Tilts’, ‘Their City’, and ‘Wake The Sun’ are all very uplifting and give a slow start. ‘We Are One’ really kicks things off with its sheer power. As soon as ‘Proctor Rd.’ ends you are in shock that the album is already over. ‘A Band In Hope’ is another near perfect album from The Matches; they hit gold with this one.
