Scandinavia has produced a lot of amazing metal bands in it’s time. All very well known, well perceived bands. One of the most successful bands is Finland’s very own HIM. Things all started for them in 1996 -then known as his infernal majesty- with Greatest Love songs, Vol. 666 and have risen ever since to produce their latest record, Venus Doom. Coining the genre Love Metal. And the album dose what the genre say’s. After two years since dark light, Ville and co are back, could this be there best album to date? Opener Venus Doom is a slick gothic opener, and it only gets better. thick Metal riffs, razor sharp guitar solo’s and enchanting audio. But the true talent of lead Vallo is the icing on this masterpiece of a record; one minute the vocals are raw husky, magical and beautiful the next.
